The course teaches advanced programming techniques in Java and subsequently introduces the Python programming language.
The Java section covers an OOP refresher as well as topics such as exceptions, GUI programming, generics, lambda expressions, and introductions to concurrent programming and design patterns.
The Python section addresses basic syntax, data types, functions, fundamentals of OOP in Python, modules, and a selection of specialized packages (matplotlib, numpy).
