We are very pleased to welcome all students to our course, whether you found your way via Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT), Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) or the Bavarian Virtual University (vhb).
The course is divided into 8 chapters, which should be worked on in sequence, but do not have to be. On this first page of the course you will find an overview of all chapters and can access the respective content by clicking on the chapters. The learning content is provided in videos, presentations, simple text fields or other interactive applications. Each chapter contains some tests, puzzles and tasks as small knowledge quizzes.
Learning Objectives
On completion of the course, graduates will have knowledge of the basic topics involved in setting up a business along the food value chain. They will also know which steps and framework conditions are required for a successful food start-up and have knowledge of the necessary procedure. You will learn to identify challenges and assess your own competences in the start-up team, as well as whether additional specialist knowledge is required. You will also learn where you can acquire further expertise for the successful realisation of a start-up idea.

Note on Examination Mode
The course concludes with a 90-minute written examination on-site at the end of the semester. Information on date, time and place will be given during the semester via this course.
